Who can resist a chocolate/peppermint combo? Not us. Though the taste may bring to mind your favourite after dinner mint, this smoothie is a lean, green immune-boosting machine, packed with Vitamin C and antioxidants (and some beta-carotene). No shamrocks here, but this smoothie will help you start your St. Paddy's Day like the (cold & flu) fightin' Irish. 
  • 1 large frozen banana
  • 1 1/4 cups non dairy milk 
  • 1 handful stems removed
  • 2 handfuls spinach
  • ½ avocado
  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips
  • Vegan whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate, chopped, for garnish


  1. Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth. 

  2. Pour into serving glass and garnish with vegan whipped cream, mint and dark chocolate chips.
